Seven Hills State School offers 12 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and bushland. Our position high on the hill provides views of the city whilst still giving a sense of being in the country. Our outdoor space and bushland provides opportunities for quality real life learning in conservation and supports environmental studies. This environmental focus is encouraged further through our classification as a 'Land for Wildlife' school. Our Adopt-a-farmer program enables local farmers to work with our students to plant organic fruit and vegetables in our school gardens and orchard. 'Cluckingham Palace' allows children to interact with our chickens and helps build a sustainable program.
Other facilities include a tennis court, netball court, handball areas, large playing fields consisting of a cricket oval and soccer field, state of the art library, networked classrooms with interactive whiteboards, a computer lab and undercover play areas. Play areas also include our 'Friendship zone', Junior and Senior adventure playgrounds, Prep playground and sandpit and an outdoor terraced amphitheatre.
Situated at the entrance to the school is the Seven Hills Kindergarten which is operated by the C&K Association.
At Seven Hills State School we are very aware of how fortunate we are to have expansive and spectacular grounds.
